Authority should always be questioned

This country was founded on the idea that power corrupts, and thus needs to be corrected. Thus I agree with Dave and Ethan about the nature of Technorati. It seems that Technorati has been asserting that link counts are a substitute for authority, which is foolish, at best.

In fact, I'd go so far as to suggest a modifier to the link to indicate agreement as a percentage. Or some other way of adding metadata to the link.
